How To Create An Irresistible Offer For Your Dance Studio
Feb 15, 2023Hi guys,
Well today I wanted to talk to you about how to create an irresistible offer. First of all, we’ve got to think about what that could be.
It could be a free trial; it could be three classes for $30...
I kind of like the multiple class thing because it gets them in a few times. As you know yourself, sometimes when you go to something new, it’s a bit scary the first time. Maybe your experience isn’t quiet there, the second time you get a bit more comfortable with it, and then by the third time you are really enjoying it.
So, doing that three classes for $30 or something like that is a really great offer to have.
Think about what that irresistible offer is going to be to get those students into your school.
The next thing you have to create is FOMO (fear of missing out). One of the main things I find with studio owners is they don’t think enough about how much marketing is required to actually get that person in. It takes a client at least three times to see your business before they’ll opt in.
We are the exact same. I always see something on Facebook and I’ll go “oh, that looks really cool” and I scroll past it. And the next time maybe I’ll go in and go “that looks awesome”- I might even put something into my cart….and then I go back out of it. And then the third time I might actually put that thing into my cart and see through with it.
We all have that process when we are looking at sales and that’s how you have to think when it comes to clients coming in. It can’t just be one post going ‘We teach Dance Cirque at our school’ and then expect everyone to come in. There needs to be some Facebook marketing behind it; there should be flyers going out – maybe to schools with a QR code to an opt in form. All the things.
I also say – if you are going to advertise something at your school make sure your socials are representing that thing. There’s no point putting spend behind pre-school / Little Monkey’s program and then your socials feed is full of your amazing senior troupe and here’s some of my 8’s and some of my 12’s. Because a pre-school parent needs to look at that and think – this school is all about pre-school – Cool, I’m going to opt in to their irresistible offer.
The last think I want to say is keep it simple. What I mean by that is – you don’t want that client to have to go in and fill out their address, their email, child’s age and their name and the things they like most…don’t make them do that. People are busy and they don’t want to do that. Just get the basic things you need from them; pick up the phone and talk to them – and get them in that way. You don’t want them to have to fill out your entire enrolment process in that one thing.
Just keep it simple and get them to fill out the basic info you need so that the process is as easy as possible for them.
So that’s my top three tips.
I hope you guys enjoyed it.
